Responsibilities
The Payroll Accountant will perform the following tasks:
- Prepare a full suite of payroll services for the client base in accordance with Singapore payroll regulations, including calculations of CPF, SDL, SHG, submission of CPF, publishing of payslips
- Onboard and set up new payroll clients and employees onto the platform
- Assist with payroll queries from clients and internal team members
- Prepare and submit IR8A
- Prepare and submit IR21
- Any adhoc task that was assigned by the Immediate Superior
Qualifications
- Graduate or Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Human Resources or other professional accounting qualifications
- With 2 years of hands-on experience with Singapore payroll. Candidates should have extensive knowledge on CPF regulations.
- With hands-on experience with Singapore Individual tax or IR8A and IR21 preparation and submission.
- Experience in outsourcing environment or have managed handling multiple payroll clients.
- Clear knowledge of payroll processing as per Singapore regulations
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and be able to work well with HOD or stakeholders.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Meticulous and organize, and able to prioritize work effectively to meet multiple, tight deadlines
- Independent with a good level of initiative.
