Job description

One of our specialist clinics - Dermatology, is currently looking for a Patient Service Officer - Therapist to be part of the team.

The successful candidate will be performing the following duties, but not limited to:

  • Perform registration: key in patients’ data and register in the system.
  • Generate bill estimate of procedures and treatment.
  • Advise patients on Medisave / medishield / private shield / corporate guarantees and to obtain signatures on the relevant forms.
  • In charge of procuring stock and tracking of supplies relating to treatment and procedures.
  • Assist doctor during consultation and treatment.
  • Perform therapist duties and treatment in accordance to doctor’s treatment plan.
  • Follow up of patient’s post treatment care.
  • Booking of appointment in the system.
  • Assist in training and guiding new and junior staff.
  • Handle billing, collection of payment (cash, NETS, credit cards, cheques) with integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform daily closing of collections and alert superiors on discrepancies if any.

Requirements

  • Has 1-2 years of experience in healthcare industry
  • Experience in clinical duties such as taking of blood samples, recording vital signs reading and etc. will be advantageous.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy
  • Good interpersonal skills, a good team player and has good time management skills.
  • Willing to learn and ability to adapt are key attributes for this role
  • 5.5-day work week, office hours.
