Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking individuals to handle patient admissions and other administrative tasks in a hospital setting. Candidates should possess at least a GCE 'O' Levels qualification and be skilled in Microsoft Office. The role involves customer service, operational readiness, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with additional preference for those with experience in hospitality or service industries.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP is advantageous.

Job description

About The Role

  • Handle admission, discharge and transferring of patients into wards, which includes creating and maintaining proper personal records of patients without compromising any data and safety breaches.
  • Making internal and external appointments for patients as per ordered by doctors.
  • Ensure ward’s operational and procedural area readiness based on desired service standards.
  • Provide basic financial counselling to patient and next-of-kin when requested.
  • Manage stock inventory within the assigned ward.
  • Provide chaperone assistance to doctors / nurses and prepare consultation documents.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum GCE “O” Levels qualification or equivalent.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft Office), handling multiple systems such as SAP will be an advantage.
  • Team player with good communication, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak a second language will be an advantage.
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates should be comfortable/flexible with working in a hospital setting and in different clinics when needed. Prior experience in hospitality or service industries will be an advantage
