To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all internal and external customers/patients, with the key aim of providing excellence in patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure Procedural Area Readiness
  2. Adhere to Procedural Areas Readiness in terms of administrative and operational areas, e.g., ensure procedure area space is clean, décor, brochures, materials, and posters are updated, administrative equipment, lights, air conditioning, and telephones are functional in clinic public spaces.
  3. Assist with smooth patient journey including registration, discharge, appointment bookings, cashiering, and enquiries. Ensure accurate and timely registration at the counter.
  4. Maintain patient insurance provider information and ensure billing accuracy.
  5. Follow-up with pre/post-scope or operation administrative duties, e.g., provide patients with accurate and timely pre/post-procedure information, book/reschedule procedures and appointments, follow-up on no-shows according to doctor’s instructions, and ensure TCU information is provided accurately.
  6. Attend to appointment requests, emails, and phone enquiries.
  7. Provide financial counselling to patients regarding fees for consultations, investigations, procedures, and medications where applicable.
  8. Offer value-added services such as Phlebotomy, Therapy Aid, Basic ADL assistance.
  9. Lead and train junior staff in value-added services.
  10. Participate in quality improvement projects and undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the clinic/nurse manager, service team leader, or service executives.
Qualifications and Area of Discipline
  • Candidate must possess at least 'A' Levels or a Diploma.
  • Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work in a hospital setting and in different clinics as needed.
  • Flexible with shift work when required.
