About the Role:
We are hiring Patient Service Associates on behalf of various leading public healthcare institutions in Singapore. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, delivering crucial administrative and frontline support across clinics, specialist centers, and hospital departments. Key Responsibilities

Counter Assistant Duties
  • Register and screen patients with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality and protection of patient information.

  • Handle billing transactions and ensure that all payments are collected on the same day.

  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the front desk area and self-service kiosks.

  • Prepare the clinic area to receive patients at least 15 minutes before the first scheduled appointment.

Room Assistant Duties
  • Provide support to doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals during patient consultations and procedures.

  • Assist in coordinating and scheduling both first-time and follow-up patient appointments.

  • Monitor patient flow and waiting times, providing timely updates and assistance to patients as needed.

General Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver courteous, empathetic, and helpful service to all patients, caregivers, and visitors.

  • Ensure compliance with operational protocols, hospital policies, and healthcare service standards.

  • Manage patient feedback in a tactful and professional manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when necessary.

  • Guide patients in using self-service kiosks, digital check-in systems, and hospital mobile applications.

  • Perform administrative duties such as data entry, documentation, and filing as part of daily clinic operations.

  • Support service improvement projects and contribute ideas for enhancing clinic workflow and patient experience.

  • Remain flexible and willing to be deployed across different clinics or departments, depending on operational needs.

  • Maintain full compliance with all clinic and hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of GCE ‘N’ Level qualification or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry or customer service is advantageous, but not mandatory.

  • Proficient in using basic computer systems and digital tools.

  • Strong communication skills with a pleasant and empathetic personality.

  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and remain calm in a high-paced environment.

  • A responsible and adaptable team player with a service-oriented mindset.
