Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Systems Analyst (Pathology) to lead pathology informatics initiatives, review LIS functions, monitor LIS applications and support accreditation requirements.

The role requires 4+ years in Biomedical Science or IT pathways, familiarity with LIS systems like EPIC Beaker, strong data analytics, and programming or scripting skills (Access, Visual Basic, Python) to enable data manipulation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Science or related discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or diploma with over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Degree in IT with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or diploma in IT with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of LIS applications and troubleshooting (experience with EPIC Beaker preferred but not mandatory).
• Understanding of laboratory operations and workflow.
• Strong data analysis and informatics skills for predictive modelling and process optimisation.
• Programming or scripting skills for data manipulation and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and PC troubleshooting.
• Relevant clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead pathology informatics initiatives, including predictive modelling and data structure optimisation.
• Review LIS functions, provide recommendations, and support decision-making.
• Monitor and support LIS applications.
• Manage Project Change Requests (PCRs) and Operational Service Requests (OSRs), including review, deconflict, and testing.
• Support laboratory accreditation compliance within the LIS.
• Assist with system administration and departmental compliance tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the LIS Supervisor.
