Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Technical Specialist Manager – PAT to lead process analytics across an ADC manufacturing campus in Singapore. You will set PAT strategy, select technology, and oversee lifecycle management from proof-of-concept to GMP-grade deployment.

You will architect advanced analytics, digital twins, and closed-loop control, collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Digital, and QA to enable autonomous manufacturing and continuous verification while meeting GMP expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Data Science, Automation Engineering or related field.
Significant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or regulated manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated experience implementing PAT solutions in manufacturing.
Knowledge of GMP, data integrity, validation and regulatory expectations for PAT.

Responsibilities

Define and implement a site-wide PAT strategy and roadmap aligned to manufacturing scale-up and operational excellence.
Identify, evaluate, and deploy spectroscopy, sensors, soft sensors, and real-time analytics; manage lifecycle from PoC to GMP-grade.
Serve as SME for PAT, multivariate data analysis, and advanced process control to guide decisions.
Build and maintain process models, predictive analytics, and digital twins to stabilise processes and raise yields.
