Job summary

A leading bakery company in Singapore seeks an experienced team leader to oversee kitchen operations and training of staff. The role requires management experience, preferably in a bakery setting, along with knowledge of bread and pastry making. This position offers a competitive salary package, including overtime and a bonus, and operates over six days a week.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of management experience, preferably in the bakery industry.
  • Certification in related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in preparing artisan breads, pastries, and bakes.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and hygiene standards.
  • Guide and provide training to team members.
  • Manage scheduling and performance reviews.
  • Monitor inventory and improve productivity.

Salary Package: Basic up to $5000 + OT + VB

Working Day: 6 days / 7 hours

Working Location: Pandan Loop

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in preparing and baking artisan breads, pastries, and sweet/savoury bakes
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, hygiene standards, and equipment maintenance
  • Guide and provide training to team members
  • Manage scheduling, performance reviews, and staffing needs
  • Monitor inventory, cost control, and workflow processes to improve productivity and reduce waste
Requirements
  • Min 1-2 years of management experience, bakery industry experience is a plus
  • Knowledge in Bread & Pastry & cert in related field is a plus
