We're Hiring: Part-Time Pastry Baker (Viennoiserie Specialist)

Location: Rowell Road
Part-Time | Flexible mornings | Weekday + Weekend shifts, $10-15 / hr

We’re a café-bar that takes pride in craft — from bold flavours and seasonal ingredients to flaky layers and honest hospitality. We’re looking for a passionate part-time pastry baker to join our team and help us bring our pastry case to life.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and bake a range of viennoiserie (croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes, etc.) from scratch
  • Assist with prep and production of other baked goods (scones, cakes, tarts, etc.)
  • Manage proofing schedules and maintain consistent quality
  • Work closely with the head baker to experiment with seasonal specials
  • Keep a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen workspace
Who You Are
  • Skilled in lamination and viennoiserie techniques
  • Experienced in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable with early mornings and hands-on prep
  • Passionate about baking and open to learning and collaboration
Bonus If You:
  • Have experience scaling recipes and working with dough starters
  • Enjoy developing new pastries or seasonal flavours
  • Can work during weekend mornings
