Job Description

About the Role

As a Passenger Services Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a pleasant departure experience for passengers. You will be part of a dynamic team working in an exciting environment, gaining insights into ground handling operations at Changi Airport. Key Responsibilities
  1. Greet passengers upon arrival and ensure a smooth departure process, including check-in and managing various flight and customer requests.
  2. Serve as a service ambassador, assisting passengers with Self-Service Kiosks and Auto Bag Drops.
  3. Handle gate duties, communicate with airline crews, and coordinate departure activities with relevant departments.
  4. Guide and escort transit passengers from the arrival gate to the Transfer Holding Area and vice versa.
  5. Assist passengers requiring special assistance.
  6. Create operational logs and documentation, such as gate reports and counter reports.
  7. Act as an interface between passengers and airline customers.
  8. Maintain professionalism in decorum, grooming, and communication at all times.
  9. Ensure compliance with safety, security, and standard operating procedures of the company, airlines, and airport authorities.
  10. Stay aware of flight schedules, statuses, and gate changes.
  11. Assist with on-the-ground logistics during flight disruptions, delays, diversions, or irregular operations (IRROPs).
  12. Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor.
Key Requirements
  1. Ability to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  2. Customer-oriented with good teamwork skills.
  3. Comfortable using computers.
  4. Proficient in speaking and writing English confidently.
