Parts Sales Engineer

Working Location: Jurong East

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm

Salary Range: SGD 4,000 to SGD 5,500 monthly, 13th month bonus, SGD 250 transport allowance

Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the business unit to achieve sales growth targets and expand into new markets to ensure consistent market share growth.
  • Develop effective strategies to increase spare parts market share and revenue.
  • Handle opportunities from leads proactively to ensure timely fulfillment and profitability.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline plans to management.
  • Promote aftermarket service sales to distributors alongside spare parts sales.
  • Work with the sales team to develop strategies targeting new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of diesel industrial engines to support distributors with technical advice on spare parts.
  • Optimize inventory levels, including own stock and consignment stock, to reduce costs and ensure parts availability.
  • Maintain accurate records of projects, pricing, sales, and activities.
  • Create and deliver proposals and presentations to sales teams, customers, and prospects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects across functions.
  • Perform additional parts sales and aftermarket duties as assigned.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in spare parts or the automotive industry.
  • Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions (10-15%).
  • Experience with engine manufacturers' spare parts is advantageous.
