Job summary

M-DAQ Global, a pioneering fintech group, seeks an Associate/Senior Associate, Partnerships to drive regional business development across Southeast Asia and beyond. You will identify, onboard, and manage banking partners, payment providers, and strategic vendors powering cross-border payments infrastructure.

You will work with senior partnerships leads to prepare proposals, coordinate onboarding, and track contracts, while collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams to navigate

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in business development, partnerships, or related client-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to draft professional materials.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Able to work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Ops, and Product teams.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and managing multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, onboard, and manage partnerships with banks, payment providers, and vendors.
• Prepare partnership proposals, term sheets, and pitch materials.
• Coordinate onboarding workflows with Legal, Compliance, and Product teams.
• Track partner documents, contracts, and communications.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities across target jurisdictions (SG, HK, MY, TH, PH).
• Prepare leadership briefing notes and status updates.
• Support regulatory/compliance documentation tied to partner onboarding.
• Attend partner meetings and manage follow-ups.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Associate/Senior Associate, Partnerships to support our regional business development efforts across Southeast Asia and beyond. You'll work closely with senior partnerships leads to identify, onboard, and manage relationships with banking partners, payment providers, and strategic vendors that power M-DAQ's cross-border payments infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Support partner identification, outreach, and relationship management across banking, payments, and fintech ecosystems
• Assist in preparing partnership proposals, commercial term sheets, and pitch materials
• Coordinate onboarding workflows with internal Legal, Compliance, and Product teams to bring new partners live
• Track and maintain partner documentation, contracts, and correspondence
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify new partnership opportunities across target jurisdictions (SG, HK, MY, TH, PH, and beyond)
• Prepare internal briefing notes and status updates for leadership
• Support regulatory and compliance documentation tied to partner onboarding where needed
• Attend partner meetings and calls, taking ownership of follow-ups and action items

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, account management, or a related client-facing/commercial role (fintech, payments, or financial services experience a strong plus)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting professional correspondence and internal materials
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and project coordination skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Ops, and Product teams
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple workstreams at once
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Fluency in English required; Mandarin or another regional language a plus for cross-border coverage
