Job description

The Partner Sales Senior Principal is the account owner in Hong Kong and creates, identifies and closes deals for Salesforce Core (include but not limit to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform and Slack) in Hong Kong via our reseller partner Alibaba Cloud.

As the individual who represents the Hong Kong account team and drives partner revenue, this person must be a self-starting closer who can collaborate with Alibaba Cloud to generate, handover and close deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and drive revenue within the region via resale with Alibaba Cloud

  • Generate business opportunities through professional networking, lead generation methods and converting existing and incoming customers to Alibaba Cloud resale

  • Drive Partnership awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking, associations, etc.

  • Meet and exceed all KPIs and V2MOM

  • Own the sales cycle - from lead generation to handover to Alibaba Cloud to close where necessary

  • Develop strategic enterprise business plan and migration strategy for the assigned territory/segment.

  • Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal SFA system.

  • Maintain sales and opportunity forecasting in Alibaba leads portal

  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Enable / Coach Alibaba Cloud Sales and Telesales the Salesforce selling methodology

Requirements:

  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience with demonstrated proficiency.

  • A proven sales hunter, closer and achiever with proven quota attainment figures in the past

  • Min. 6 years of software sales (SaaS) experience.

  • Strong preference for application selling in sales experience.

  • Proven track record of sales excellence in APAC, preferably Hong Kong

  • Be able to work both independently and as a team player in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment.

  • Superior professional presence and business acumen.

  • Experience selling at the "C" level - CMO is a plus.
