A local logistics company in Singapore is seeking a part-time store assistant to support operations in the Engineering store. Responsibilities include managing inventory, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting with data entry tasks. Candidates should have prior experience in warehouse settings and be ready for physical work. Flexible working hours include a 5-day work week.
6 months contract
Part-Time Role, 5 day work week
Monday to Tuesday - 8am to 5pm
Wednesday to Friday - 8am to 12pm
Job Roles
Assist on issuance and returning/receiving of all materials stored in the Engineering store. Ensure that all incoming and outgoing items are in good working condition.
Conduct regular housekeeping of material stores in a clear and effective manner as instructed. This includes rearrangement of inventory to optimize storage space where instructed.
Facilitate the processing of warranty claims and delivery exchanges where applicable.
Simple data entry for tracking of non inventorized items.
Ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety procedures, legal and company regulations.
Adhere to workplace safety and health policies, practice safe work procedures and safety rules implemented at the workplace; and not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger self or others.
Job Requirements
Prior work experience in storekeeping, warehouse and logistics would be beneficial.
Experience in computerized stock systems would be advantageous.
Candidates must be able to handle physical work as he / she might need to assist in labor/manual work
