Job summary

Real Finance is seeking a Part-Time Social Media Editor in Singapore to maintain quality and integrity of content across reels/videos, IG and TT. You will review, refine and polish written materials and captioning, ensuring clarity, accuracy and engaging voice.

You will work with a videographer and writers to meet publication deadlines, provide feedback, and uphold editorial standards while balancing a flexible part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an editor or in editorial capacity within publishing or media.
• Strong command of English grammar, syntax and style conventions.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
• Proficiency in editing software and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of fact-checking methodologies and research practices.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry or business publishing advantageous.
• Ability to work flexibly within a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities

• Edit videos to be posted on TT/IG (there is a separate videographer)
• Review and edit written content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity and consistency
• Ensure all published materials align with Real Finance's editorial standards, brand voice and style guidelines
• Provide constructive feedback to writers and contributors to improve content quality
• Fact-check and verify information for accuracy before publication
• Coordinate with authors and production teams to meet publication deadlines
• Manage editorial workflows and maintain comprehensive editing records
• Suggest structural and content improvements to enhance readability and impact
