Job summary

A leading optical studio in Singapore seeks an experienced optician to provide expert eye care and customer service. The successful candidate will perform eye tests, offer personalized advice, and work independently in a retail environment. This is a full-time position with a competitive daily rate of $180.

Qualifications

• Experienced, at least 3 years in eyewear retail.
• Competent in opticianry knowledge and skills.
• Must possess good communication, presentation, and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and eye care knowledge to customers.
• Perform eye test procedures and dispense glasses skillfully.
• Check patient's ocular health and fitting on frames.

Job Requirements

• Must possess an approved optometry or optician qualification accepted by the Singapore Ministry of Health, Optometrists & Opticians Board.
• Experienced ,at least 3yrs working in Eyewear retail store
• Competent in opticianry knowledge and skills.
• Possess good communication, presentation and written skills.
• Strong organizational skills and self motivated (Working alone).
• Must be able to multi-tasks and work under pressure.
• Willing to go the extra mile to provide good quality services
• A good team player with positive mindset and good work ethics
• Polite, honest, good work attitude and punctual
• Responsible, hardworking and possess leadership qualities

Job Responsibilities

• To provide customers with professional advice and Eye Care Knowledge

• To perform eye test procedures and obtain accurate and precise measurements

• Check patient's ocular health and fitting on frames well and dispense glasses skillfully to customers
