Job description

The Early Intervention Centre is seeking a highly motivated experienced Senior ABA Therapist to join our team and work with young children in our Early Years intervention program. As a part-time therapist, you will play a critical role in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to improve the lives of children diagnosed with autism or other developmental challenges.


Experience

Experience working with children with developmental and/ or learning difficulties.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Team-oriented
  • Outstanding knowledge of Behavioural strategies
  • Extensive experience working with children with developmental delays and behavioural challenges
  • At least a Degree in Applied Behavioural Analysis, Educational Psychology or Special Education
  • Early Denver Start Model Training / RBT Certification is a plus
  • At least 3 years of related working experiences
  • Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a positive team member

As a Senior ABA Therapist, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Teach in a one-on-one, dyad and group setting.
  • Provides specific differentiated intervention method, modify instruction and make adaptations to meet the diverse needs of young children.
  • Design and incorporate various support materials to facilitate programmes and to support learning and assessments.
  • Be familiar with positive reinforcement and behavioural management strategies.
