PART TIME SCIENCE TEACHER

Employment Type: Part-Time / Hourly Rate

Teach Pure Physics, Pure Chemistry, and Combined Science in an engaging, clear, and structured manner.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver organised lesson plans tailored to students’ academic levels and goals.
• Prepare teaching materials, practice worksheets, and assignments for both in-class and home learning.
• Create and assess a variety of evaluation tools (quizzes, tests, lab reports, etc.) to track student progress.
• Provide timely, detailed feedback to support student improvement.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment.
• Monitor student performance and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
• Maintain open and regular communication with students and parents on academic performance.

Requirements:

Preferred: Local candidates with prior teaching experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
Teaching experience in Physics, Chemistry, or Combined Science preferred.
Additional knowledge in Biology is a plus.
Experience with IGCSE / O-Level / A-Level / IB / MOE curriculum.
Ability to teach in a bilingual or ESL environment.
Familiarity with exam-focused strategies and techniques.
Experience working with secondary school and/or pre-university students.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Able to commit to a part-time teaching schedule (weekday evenings and/or weekends).
