A leading mental health institution in Singapore is looking for a Temp Research Assistant (Part-Time) to support funded research projects. The role includes coordinating participant recruitment, managing data collection, and maintaining records following strict ethical guidelines. Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in social sciences or related fields, and strong organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with qualitative research is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate participant recruitment and data collection while monitoring response rates.
- Coordinate and schedule interview and focus group discussions, managing participant logistics.
- Maintain secure records of consent forms, anonymised data, and audit trails.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for access, scheduling, and venue/IT setup.
Skills
Strong organisational and communication skills
Understanding of research ethics and confidentiality requirements
Attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping abilities
Experience with qualitative research methods preferred
Familiarity with statistical software advantageous
Education
Diploma/ Degree holder in relevant field (social sciences, psychology, public health, or related)
