Job summary

A local employment service company is seeking a part-time candidate in Singapore to operate photocopying machines and assist with various administrative tasks. The role requires at least 3 years of experience with printing machines and good communication skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 1.30pm, totaling 88 hours a month, with potential for extension. This position also requires being able to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant knowledge and experience in handling printing machines.
  • Experience in a school environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate photocopying machines and peripheral equipment.
  • Determine work priorities and schedule work.
  • Maintain an inventory of paper and supplies.
  • Assist with printing, collating, binding, and distribution of materials.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform maintenance on duplication machines.
  • Perform minor repairs to assigned equipment.

Overview

Contract Period: From 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026 with an option to extend the Contract for a further 1 year.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9.30am to 1.30pm (Part-Time)
  • 4 hours per day for 22 days = 88 hours per month
  • For 12 months @ 968 hours per year, add 32 hours for backup hours = 1000 hours per year
  • Candidate may be required to work longer hours on peak period days

(The above working hours are inclusive of a tea break of 30 mins per day.)

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Scope of services
  1. Operate photocopying machines and peripheral equipment
  2. Determine work priorities and schedule work and expedite work flow
  3. Maintain an inventory of paper and supplies
  4. Assist with printing, collating, binding and distribution materials
  5. Diagnose malfunctions and perform maintenance on duplication machines
  6. Maintain, adjust and perform minor repairs to assigned equipment
  7. Operate a variety of other equipment such as paper cutting, binding, folding, preserving and collating machines.
  8. Any other administrative/operation duties as assigned by Principal, Vice-Principals, Administration Manager and Operations Managers.
Qualifications, skills and experience
  • Preferably at least a GCE “N” or "O" Level Certificate or its equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant knowledge and experience in handling printing machines and school experience
  • Qualities needed:
  • Communicates well in English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to work well as a team
