Job summary

Edufarm Learning Centre is seeking an Assistant Phonics Teacher (Part-Time) to support phonics lessons in the afternoon. The role offers a short, fixed schedule with a one-hour class once a week (Thursday, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm) to help young learners stay engaged and participate actively.

Ideal candidates have PSLE qualification and a background in childcare or enrichment settings; patient, responsible and enjoys working with young children. Certification related to working with children is a plus.

• Patient, responsible, and enjoys working with young children.
• Experience in childcare, enrichment, or playgroup settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in conducting phonics lessons and ensuring smooth class operations
• Support students to stay engaged and participate actively during lessons
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
• Assist students when needed (e.g. restroom breaks, classroom support)
