The School of Art, Design, and Media at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for DM2006 Narratives for Interaction. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in January of 2027.

Narratives for Interaction introduces students to narrativity and interaction in new media, including games, interactive stories, and installations, with hands-on project work and critiques throughout the term.

Qualifications

• Master's and/or PhD in Interactive Media, Digital Media, Game Design or related field.
• Prior undergraduate teaching experience is preferred.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree and substantial industry experience may be considered in exceptional cases.

Responsibilities

• Teach an undergraduate course (DM2006 Narratives for Interaction) starting January 2027.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and class exercises with peer/instructor feedback.
• Guide self-directed learning, oversee projects and demos, and mentor students in interactive narratives.
