Job summary

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites qualified candidates to apply as a Part-Time Lecturer for EE6310 FPGA Prototyping. The course, a 39-hour postgraduate module, will be offered to MSc Integrated Circuits and Microelectronics students starting January 2027.

The successful candidate should have extensive industry experience and/or a PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, preferably with a background in Digital Integrated Circuit Design, and a passion for teaching.

Qualifications

• Extensive industry experience in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (preferably with a background in Digital Integrated Circuit Design).
• Prior postgraduate teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach EE6310 FPGA Prototyping for NTU MSc Integrated Circuits and Microelectronics Programme starting January 2027.
• Provide students with understanding of FPGA structure, FPGA design flow, HDL usage, testing methodology, prototyping flow and FPGA configuration.
• Commit to the role and programme, with at least one month dedicated to this position.

Job description

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-Time Lecturer for EE6310 FPGA Prototyping. The Part-Time Lecturer is expected to teach this postgraduate course commencing in January 2027.

This 39-hour course will be offered to students taking NTU EEE MSc Integrated Circuits and Microelectronics Programme with the objective of providing students with a solid understanding of structure of FPGA, FPGA design flow, using HDL during design flow, testing methodology, FPGA prototyping flow, and FPGA configuration. It prepares students to lead in the digital integrated circuit design industry.

The successful candidate should have extensive relevant industry experience and/or at least a PhD degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (preferably with a background in Digital Integrated Circuit Design) and a passion for teaching. Prior experience teaching similar subjects at the postgraduate level is preferred.
