Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Tutorial Delivery:

· Conduct tutorial sessions for BSc Nursing Studies (top-up) program students

· Facilitate small group discussions and problem-based learning activities

· Use relevant technology and digital resources to enhance tutorial delivery

· Assist with bridging activities to help students adapt to degree-level academic expectations

· Enforce academic standards and maintain professional learning environments

Student Assessment and Support:

· Assess and evaluate student performance through tutorials, assignments, and practical exercises

· Grade tutorial assignments, case studies, and provide constructive feedback

· Monitor individual student progress and provide additional support where needed

· Provide academic support and guidance to students transitioning from diploma to degree level

· Support students with academic challenges and provide mentorship

Administrative and Record Keeping:

· Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress

· Prepare required reports on student performance and tutorial activities

· Ensure compliance with academic policies and procedures

Collaboration and Professional Development:

· Collaborate with full-time faculty and program coordinators on curriculum delivery

· Participate in program meetings and academic planning sessions as required

· Stay current with nursing education trends, evidence-based practice, and regulatory requirements

· Engage in continuous professional development activities

· Any other tutorial-related duties as assigned by the Academic Head or Program Director

Job Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

· Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or related field

· Current nursing registration with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)

· Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience

· Previous teaching or tutorial experience preferred

· Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) qualification would be advantageous
