SAMS Greens & Grains PTE LTD is seeking a Kitchen Helper on a part-time basis at our Raffles Place kitchen in the Central Region. You will support daily culinary operations, assist with food prep, washing, and maintaining hygiene standards to ensure smooth service.

Patience, reliability, and the ability to work under supervision are valued. Prior kitchen experience is not required, but a willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines is essential for delivering quality meals.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation incl. washing, peeling, cutting and portioning ingredients.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of work stations and storage areas.
• Assisting with sandwich preparation and assembly under supervision.
• Washing and sanitising dishes, pots, pans and utensils to health standards.
• Taking deliveries and storing ingredients, maintaining inventory awareness.
• Assisting with plating and presentation under guidance of senior staff.
• Supporting waste management and recycling procedures.
• Following all food safety and hygiene protocols consistently.
• Responding to kitchen requests promptly and working as part of a team.
