Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a part-time HR Assistant to support daily HR operations including staff queries and work pass processing. The ideal candidate should possess GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent, have at least one year of relevant HR experience, and be pro-active and independent. This flexible role requires a commitment of at least 20 hours a week and is primarily based on-site in Bukit Merah.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year’s relevant working experience as HR Assistant or in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in processing Ministry of Manpower (MOM) work passes is an advantage.
  • Able to work on-site in Bukit Merah.

  • Collection of daily HR mails.
  • Attending to staff queries relating to HR matters.
  • Administering on-boarding process with new staff.

Job description

  • Collection of daily HR mails
  • Attending to staff queries relating to HR matters
  • Creating and archiving of staff personnel files
  • Performing administrative duties eg filing, scanning, etc
  • Performing duties related to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) work passes eg inform staff on 6-monthly medical checkup, application, renewal and cancellation of staff work passes, etc
  • Administering on-boarding process with new staff for one entity
  • Collating and preparing monthly payroll items to ensure data accuracy, to be checked by HR Executive
  • House-keeping and stock-take of company uniform
  • Assisting HR Executive with other HR related duties
  • Other ad-hoc duties assigned by HR Manager

Min 20 hours work week only (Half of full-time work week!)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess GCE ‘O’ Levels / ITE Certificate in Business, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 1 year’s relevant working experience as HR Assistant or in similar capacity;
  • Have prior experience in processing Ministry of Manpower (MOM) work passes, will be an advantage;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Is pro-active, independent and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to commit 3 days per week minimally
  • Able to work on-site in Bukit Merah
