Job summary

Join a leading fintech firm in Singapore as an Accounting Specialist. Your role will involve cross-checking transaction records, reconciling financial discrepancies, and supporting monthly closings. Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 2 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Excel. Working on-site will be required 2 days a week, making attention to detail and analytical skills essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or reconciliation experience.
  • Experience working in a fintech company is REQUIRED.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-check transaction records across multiple payment platforms and internal systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in financial data and platform reports.
  • Assist in monthly closing by consolidating platform balances and verifying settlement reports.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate with external accountants or auditors when needed.

Work Arrangement

Location: Singapore

Schedule: On-site 2 days per week, remote/flexible on other days

Job Responsibilities

· • Cross-check transaction records across multiple payment platforms and internal systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.

· • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies in financial data and platform reports.

· • Assist in monthly closing by consolidating platform balances and verifying settlement reports.

· • Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

· • Coordinate with external accountants or auditors when needed.

Requirements

· • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
