Job summary

Write Edge is an English enrichment centre with multiple locations in Singapore. We are seeking a Part-Time English Teacher to conduct small-group classes, delivering two-hour lessons using our provided materials and timetable.

The role requires a degree in English or related fields, strong English communication, and the ability to foster a positive classroom environment. Prior teaching or tutoring is a plus, and familiarity with the Singapore curriculum is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, Early Childhood Education, or related fields.
• Candidates currently pursuing a degree in relevant disciplines are welcome to apply.
• Prior teaching or group tutoring experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Singapore curriculum and assessment systems would be a plus.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classes of small groups, up to 8 students.
• Facilitate teaching of 2-hour lessons according to scheduled timetable
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons using provided teaching materials and lesson plans
• Maintain a positive and conducive classroom environment
• Provide relevant feedback on students’ progress when required
