Job description

About the Role:
We are looking for dedicated individuals to educate and support special needs students in civics, moral education, Arabic literacy and emotions and behavior managementusing structured resources provided by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for students with different abilities, promoting moral development through group and one-on-one sessions.
  • Guide students in developing ethical behavior and positive character traits.
  • Monitor and support the individual learning needs of each student across four core focus areas.
  • Deliver well-prepared lesson plans provided by the curriculum team.
  • Work closely with fellow educators and parents to ensure quality education and student growth.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
  • Manage classroom behavior and routines effectively.
  • Attend Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) held twice a year.
  • Prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain detailed student portfolios.

Requirements:

  • Singaporean Muslim.
  • Certificate or Diploma in Islamic Studies is an advantage.
  • Training will be provided.
  • Strong passion and genuine interest in working with special needs students.
  • Ability to recognize and read Arabic letters.
  • Able to commit for at least one year.
  • University and polytechnic students are welcome to apply.
  • Able to work two sessions: 9 AM–11 AM and/or 12 PM–2 PM.
  • Punctuality and good attendance are essential.
  • Payment is hourly rate of $20
