Qualifications

• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Experience in Special Needs Education preferred, on-the-job training provided.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• To provide care and supervision for students with special needs who are attending a Student Care for Special needs from 7 years old to 12 years old.
• To assist plan, write, monitor and improve IEP lesson plans, reports, records and documentation of every student
• To plan, prepare and produce materials, and conduct routines and activities with the students pertaining to physical exercises, life-skills training, activities of daily living (ADLs), hobby development (e.g. music, horticulture), and excursions according to the schedule
• Implement classroom management strategies.
• Collaborate and communicate with parents or caregivers, other programme staff and other stakeholders on the student’s progress, well-being and in advocating for the students
• Strong interest and commitment in working with individuals with special needs (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability)

Requirements:

• Good team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess a good command of spoken and written English
• Priority will be given to individuals with experience in Special Needs Education. On the job training will be provided.
• Looking for educators for both Changi (East) and Woodlands (North) branches
• Able to commit at least 3-4 days a week for about 6-8 hours
