Job summary

Strive Mathstrivemath.com is seeking a part-time Coding Teacher to run after-school coding classes for kids in Singapore.

You will teach Python and Scratch in small groups at schools, with provided lesson materials and a focus on hands-on projects that learners can say, “I did this.” You’ll guide students with coaching, patience and empathy, balancing fun with learning as you help kids gain confidence in coding.

Qualifications

• Fluent in any coding language.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and patient with kids.
• Available for at least 2 after‑school days per week (Mon‑Fri 2–5pm SGT).
• Based in Singapore with own laptop for demonstrations.

Responsibilities

• Teach kids aged 8–16 to code in Python/Scratch in small groups after school on school premises.
• Provide lesson materials with minimal prep time.
• Guide students to write code for full projects, using coaching and problem solving.

Skills

Coding fluency in any language

Energy and patience

Commitment to 2 weekdays after-school
