Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Records

- Process and record invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.

- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Administrative Support

- Prepare and send customer invoices and follow up on overdue payments.

- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.

- File and organize financial documents (digital and physical).

- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Reporting & Compliance

- Generate basic financial reports (e.g., aging reports, cash flow summaries).

- Assist with VAT/GST returns and tax documentation.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience: 1–2 years in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or similar role.

- Technical Skills:Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. infotech and Xero) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication. Familiarity with payroll systems or basic tax principles.
