Job summary

SEARCH AVENUE PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore East is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to receive and process parcels as they arrive, sort shipments by destination and priority, and prepare items for dispatch with care.

You will scan parcels, verify tracking details and labels, assist with loading and unloading, keep the warehouse tidy and safe, and support daily activities in a busy, hands-on environment. Training is provided and no prior warehousing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Physically able to handle and move parcels.
• Attention to accurate sorting, scanning and labeling of shipments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process parcels as they arrive at the warehouse.
• Sort shipments based on destination, delivery route and priority.
• Scan parcels and verify tracking details, labels and quantities for accuracy.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments from vehicles, pallets and cages.
• Prepare parcels for dispatch by arranging, labelling and moving them to the correct areas.
• Ensure parcels are properly organized and transferred to the relevant staging or dispatch zones.
• Support daily warehouse activities and other logistics-related tasks as assigned.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, orderly and compliant with safety requirements.
• Handle all parcels carefully while following established warehouse procedures and work instructions.
