A leading aviation legal services firm in Singapore is seeking an entry-level Paralegal to support legal and transactional teams. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with aviation leasing. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including documentation support, legal research, and coordination of aircraft lease transactions.
Position overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal with 2–3 years of legal experience, ideally in the aviation leasing and finance sector. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international legal environment while supporting transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters related to aircraft leasing. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities:
· Support legal and transactional teams with documentation, organization, and coordination of aircraft lease transaction and other general corporate matters.
· Maintain and organize transaction checklists and closing folders.
· Conduct legal and corporate research related to aviation regulations and jurisdiction-specific issues.
· Coordinate and track signatures, document execution, and filing of originals and certified copies.
· Help manage and update internal databases and records of aircraft ownership, registrations, and related documents.
· Liaise with internal departments (e.g., legal, finance, technical) and external counsel to ensure deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
· Provide support during aircraft deliveries and redeliveries, including organizing closing calls and document signings.
· Perform corporate secretarial duties for Singapore companies
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.
· 2–3 years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department; aviation, transportation, or asset finance experience preferred.
· Prior experience supporting cross-border commercial transactions.
· Familiarity with aircraft leasing terminology, closing practices, and documentation.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
· Team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
· Corporate Secretary certification and prior related experience in a Singaporean company
