Who We Looking For

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Commercial Litigation practice.

Job Description

  • Assist our lawyers in Commercial Litigation Practice in all phases case management, legal research, and document preparation.
  • Manage the document review process by coordinating comments from multiple sources and incorporating modifications under supervision.
  • Prepare preliminary and other basic deal documents.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other court-related activities.
  • Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and other materials for court proceedings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required with a minimum of two years of paralegal experience at a law firm or in-house legal department preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin. (in order to handle queries from English and Mandarin speaking counterparts in regards with the corporate secretarial matters and also to schedule appointments for English and Mandarin speaking clients.)
  • Meticulous and able to multitask and ensure transaction timelines are adhered to.
  • Must be proactive and able to anticipate needs.
  • Skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
