Summary:

The Packaging Warehouse Supervisor will direct, supervise, and manage all functions of the daily operations of the EVAL packaging warehouse including the staff of contract packaging operators. The Packaging Warehouse Supervisor will ensure that all material is properly packaged with zero defects and is transported to the customer or outside the warehouse in a manner that assures zero defects when it arrives at the end-use customer. The Warehouse Supervisor oversees any outside warehousing operations for the storage of EVAL products.

The Packaging Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Production Manager. Until the startup of EVAL production line, training and learning opportunities of EVAL production and packaging technology are provided by experienced members in company and vendor. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the setting up of the standard operating procedure, operating systems, processes, risk assessment, training and leading the new contract employees to achieve safe and stable commissioning and startup of the new EVAL packaging warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Determine and creating batch or lot numbers, quantity and type of packaging according to production schedule.

• Issue work assignments to contract personnel.

• Observe contract personnel as work is being performed.

• Keep the warehouse SOP up-to-date and make changes when required.

• Inspect for the condition of the workplace including housekeeping and 5S in EVAL Silo & Packaging

• Investigate and resolve warehouse related CAR’s (including corrective actions).

• Monitor and review environment compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Assist in production scheduling and planning to maximize production.

• Analyze and assess all aspects of packaging operations such as quality, cost, material etc. and make recommendations for improvement and/or change.

• Manage daily manpower requirement of ad-hoc workers.

• Manage inventory of EVAL products, packaging supplies, raw materials, and other consumables in EVAL Silo & Packaging building.

• Conduct GSAP posting for finishing product for Quality team to perform grading.

• Understand & adhere to the principles & practices as outlined in the KAP Safety & Environmental policies.

• Review all procedures associated with packaging activities.

• Communicate with the Sales or Production planning team to ensure that the packaging of the product is completed according to the production schedule.

• Observe personnel working in the packaging warehouse to make sure all work is done in a safe efficient manner according to procedures

• Monitor budget performance to ensure packaging supplies and operating supplies are used efficiently.

• Receive and inspect all imported material to make sure it meets our standards.

• Produced the received material into the GSAP system to keep system inventories up to date.

• Coordinating with Logistics and Product management team for the movement of FG from KAP plant to warehouses.

• Responsible for In-House Contractor Safe Management of Staff and Equipment.

• Support Technical department for project matters in EVAL Silo & Packaging building.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years working experience in warehouse packaging and 3 years of warehouse packaging supervisory experience.

• Diploma in a relevant discipline.

• Good knowledge and application of all safety rules required in warehouse packaging environment.

• Knowledge of shipping, receiving and warehouse management to include handling and shipment of waste materials, knowledge of freight rates and tariffs, manufacturing specifications, budgeting, and packaging equipment.

• Knowledge of regulations concerning safety and compliance in warehouse materials handling and local regulations which govern load capacity, safety, and drivers.

• Familiar with GSAP (or SAP equivalent) and quality system.

• Knowledge of requirements for packaging materials needed.

• Experience with auditing outside warehouse facilities
