Job summary

Package Development Lab is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to coordinate packaging testing, record results in the ELN, and ensure SOP compliance. The role involves preparing samples, performing a range of packaging tests, and supporting investigations into OOS results.

You will maintain safety and data integrity across all activities, with training provided for packaging-related tasks. Office hours are Monday to Friday, with typical lab duties and shipping support as part of the workflow.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous laboratory, testing, engineering, or packaging-related experience is an advantage; however, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing schedules and sample preparation for packaging-related evaluations.
• Conduct standard packaging tests accurately within SOPs and turnaround times.
• Record test activities, observations, and results in the ELN with good data integrity practices.
• Support packaging-related testing including compatibility, weight loss, environmental stress cracking, UV fade, drop, torque, leak, and temperature cycling tests.
• Provide relevant test data to support Out-of-Specification (OOS) and test failure investigations.
• Immediately communicate testing deviations, equipment or instrumentation failures, or anomalous results to the Team Leader.
• Follow established laboratory procedures and safety requirements when handling samples, materials, equipment and test activities.
• Coordinate shipping requests for packaging materials and samples; prepare, label, organize, and issue packaging for shipment.
