Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking a laboratory technician for packaging materials testing at Buona Vista, Singapore. The role focuses on coordinating testing, sample prep, and data recording in an ELN with strict adherence to SOPs.

The position involves a range of packaging tests, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with shipping support as needed. Diploma holders should apply; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous laboratory, testing, engineering, or packaging-related experience is an advantage
• Training will be provided

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing schedules and perform sample and material preparation for packaging-related evaluations.
• Conduct standard packaging tests accurately and within required turnaround time per SOPs.
• Record test activities, observations and results in the ELN with good data integrity.
• Perform packaging-related testing (e.g., compatibility, weight loss, environmental stress cracking, UV fade, drop tests, torque, leak, shipping tests).
• Provide data to support OOS and test failure investigations.
• Communicate deviations, equipment failures or anomalies to the Team Leader promptly.
• Follow lab safety procedures and SOPs in handling samples, materials and tests.
• Manage storage of packaging samples and lab consumables and maintain housekeeping.
