Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Packaging Laboratory Specialist to join their team in the West region. The role focuses on coordinating testing schedules, preparing samples, and executing a range of packaging tests in accordance with SOPs.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in a technical field and experience in laboratory work, testing or packaging. This position is based in Singapore and involves routine lab work and material evaluations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline is required.
• Previous experience in laboratory work, testing or packaging is advantageous.
• Candidates with related technical discipline experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing schedules and prepare samples for packaging evaluations.
• Conduct standard packaging tests according to SOPs and timelines.
• Accurately record test activities, observations and results in the ELN.
• Perform packaging tests including compatibility, weight loss, drop, torque, leak, UV fade and temperature cycling.
• Support investigations by providing relevant test data and information.
• Report testing deviations, equipment failures and abnormal results to the Team Leader.
• Assist with preparation, labeling and coordination of packaging samples for shipment.

Our client is one of the leading players in the Science Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Packaging Laboratory Specialist to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.

Responsibilities of Packaging Laboratory Specialist:

• Coordinate testing schedules and prepare samples and materials for packaging-related evaluations.
• Conduct standard packaging tests according to established SOPs and required timelines.
• Accurately record test activities, observations and results in the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
• Perform various packaging tests, including compatibility, weight loss, drop, torque, leak, UV fade, temperature cycling and transportation testing.
• Support investigations by providing relevant test data and information.
• Report testing deviations, equipment failures and abnormal results to the Team Leader.
• Support the preparation, labelling and coordination of packaging samples and materials for shipment.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Science or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience in laboratory work, testing, engineering or packaging is an advantage.
