Job summary

A leading packaging solutions provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional with expertise in various printing technologies and a strong background in the paper-based packaging industry. You will manage customer projects, provide technical guidance, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in English, with Mandarin communication skills as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as graphics, print, communications and/or business.
• > 5 years experience in paper-based packaging industry, advertising, prepress, or managing print vendors.
• Proven success in the graphics, print, packaging or brand communications industries.
• Strong understanding of the overall design, print and packaging workflow.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English to a high level, as well as the local language of the work location.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understanding key printing technologies, including offset lithography, flexography, gravure.
• Experience with digital printing / inkjet printing applications.
• Expertise in color separation theory and color management of customer artwork files.
• Ability to assess and edit customer artwork files ready for print production.
• Familiarity with different paper-based and corrugated packaging materials.
• Examining printed materials and artwork in preparation for printing.
• Providing technical guidance to sales teams and customers.
• Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Managing multiple customer projects, prioritizing responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of design and communication software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Ready to travel when required.

Job description

3. Expertise in color separation theory and the color management of customer artwork files.

4. Ability to assess and edit customer artwork files ready for print production.

5. Familiarity with different paper-based and corrugated packaging materials.

6. Examining printed materials and artwork in preparation for printing, providing feedback and resolving print-related issues.

7. Providing technical guidance to sales teams and customers, offering support for print solutions, and potentially assisting with equipment maintenance.

8. Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including designers, vendors, and clients.

9. Managing multiple customer projects, prioritizing responsibilities, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

10. Working knowledge of design and communication software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator; MS PowerPoint, Excel etc.)

11. Ready to travel when required.

12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor / company
