Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to join our Applications team. You will design, develop, and deliver low-code solutions that drive business value for clients across the APAC region.

You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, writing clean code, conducting reviews, and integrating with RESTful services. Strong knowledge of OutSystems architecture and Agile practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing applications using OutSystems (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of OutSystems architecture, components, and best practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
• OutSystems certifications or experience (Associate Developer in O11 and/or ODC) are highly valued.
• Experience with relational databases and data modelling.
• Knowledge of application security principles and practices.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web and mobile applications.
• Integrate OutSystems applications with external systems, databases, and APIs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members to strengthen capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
