Job summary

APAR TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an OutSystems developer to design and deliver scalable web and mobile applications within approved architecture and coding standards.

You will translate user stories into maintainable components, build data models and business logic, and ensure robust REST/SOAP integrations while maintaining data integrity. The role requires 2–4 years of OutSystems delivery experience, strong SQL, familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira, and solid communication

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience on the OutSystems platform.
• Hands-on experience with OutSystems Service Studio across UI, logic, data, integrations, security and deployment.
• Strong SQL knowledge and relational database concepts; query optimisation.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, authentication patterns; SOAP is a plus.
• Proficient front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript; version control with Git or similar.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira in Agile environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance responsive web and mobile applications using OutSystems, following architecture and standards.
• Translate user stories and wireframes into maintainable components.
• Build interfaces, data models, business logic, validations and access controls.
• Design, consume and troubleshoot REST and SOAP integrations.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and data access logic.
• Perform unit testing, support SIT and UAT, and resolve defects within sprints.
• Participate in peer reviews and address code quality and security findings.
• Support deployment activities and post-release validation.
• Investigate incidents and perform root-cause analysis with clear documentation.
• Contribute to sprint planning and continuous improvement.
