Job summary

Avensys Consulting on-site in Singapore seeks an Onshore OutSystems Developer for a 1-year contract (extendable). You will implement, maintain and test IT applications, collaborating with stakeholders and ICT providers.

Research trends and develop proofs of concept while ensuring compliance and high performance. You should have OutSystems certification, 5+ years in software development, and hands-on experience with AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a software developer.
• OutSystems Associate Reactive/Traditional Web/ODC Developer certification.
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., Co-pilot) preferred; familiarity with debugging and automation.
• Azure DevOps for ticket management and Azure Pipelines for deployments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• The scope of services for the Onshore OutSystems Developers shall include the following:
• Provide implementation, application maintenance and testing support for IT application systems;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and work closely with external parties, ICT providers or government agencies for systems operational and maintenance works and new initiatives/enhancements;
• Research on technology trends and develop proof of concepts;
• Work closely with team members (Developers, testers, business analysts, etc) on development of IT solutions to meet business needs;
• Review project deliverables (e.g. code, design documents, test plan & reports) to ensure the completeness for acceptance;
• Ensure that the delivery of the project is compliant with relevant policies and guidelines and to identify and close any compliance gaps; and
• Ensure that codes follow OutSystems coding best practices and Architecture patterns for application development, and performance is optimized.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer;
• Certified as an Associate Reactive/Traditional Web/ODC Developer by OutSystems;
• Experience in harnessing AI tools such as Co-pilot to accelerate application development in areas of error reduction and debugging, workflow automation and data integration/modelling is preferred; and
• Use of Azure tools such as Azure DevOps for Ticket management, Azure pipeline for deployments will be an added advantage.

Personnel(s) possessing one or more of the following capabilities and expertise will have added advantages:

• Cloud Certification from one or more Cloud Service Providers (preferred AWS);
• Experience in SDLC-related projects;
• Knowledge in OutSystem's BDD framework;
