Job summary

A leading HR service provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced Outsourcing Accounting Manager. You will oversee and train the accounting team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines. The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting, five years of experience managing teams, and strong communication skills. Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and fund-based accounting is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience managing accounting teams, preferably with an audit background.
• Experience in compilation of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) Financial Reports.
• Familiarity with Variable Capital Company (VCC) and fund-based accounting is a plus.

Role Overview

As an Outsourcing Accounting Manager, you are required to oversee and train the accounting team to ensure regulatory compliance and deadlines set by ACRA and IRAS are met. It is important for you to have strong communication skills and conversant in written English.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting teams in portfolio and client-based work, ensuring high quality delivery and client satisfaction
• Address client inquiries and provide viable solutions.
• Work closely with corporate secretarial team.
• Implement workflow process efficiency.
• Familiar with MAS reporting requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties.

Key Requirements

• Degree in accounting or equivalent professional qualifications (eg ACCA)
• Experience in compilation of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) Financial Reports.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing accounting teams, preferably with an audit background
• Excellent communication skills for internal and client interactions
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and self-motivated
• Familiar with Variable Capital Company (VCC) and fund-based accounting is a plus.
