Position Overview

As the outsourced CFO for a single family office, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor and strategist, overseeing all aspects of the family’s financial affairs. You will ensure effective wealth preservation, risk management, and financial planning, while aligning investments and operational activities with the family’s long-term objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the family office’s financial operations, including accounting, cash flow, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the family’s wealth preservation, growth, and legacy planning.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on investments, asset allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with external advisors (e.g., tax advisors, estate planners, investment managers) to ensure comprehensive wealth management.
  • Lead or support tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring the family’s tax efficiency.
  • Oversee financial due diligence for potential investments, acquisitions, or other strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards tailored to the family’s goals.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, governance standards, and best practices in all financial matters.
  • Act as a financial sounding board and confidant to family members, balancing privacy and transparency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA, CFA, or similar professional designation strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in senior financial management, preferably in a family office, private wealth management, or as a CFO.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management, tax planning, estate planning, and investment analysis.
  • Discretion, integrity, and a proven ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with family members and advisors.
