JOB SUMMARY:
You will be stationed at Client’s premise and provide support for client’s IT administration and related support for users.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides professional support to the end user and computer users, detecting flaw in the computer hardware, software and other equipment’s, and repairing the same.
- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving the level one issues in computer hardware and software.
- Installing and upgrading hardware’s and software’s and providing complete assistance while configuring hardware’s, software’s, and peripherals of the end user systems
- Providing general desktop support, project coordination, imaging/ re-imaging PCs, and laptops
- Resolving network related issues like local area connection problem, network access, mails, internet, etc.
- Coordinating with the third-party service provider for timely repair of the system under the maintenance agreement warranty, and repairing minor flaws in hardware if not covered under the same
- Providing assistance in installation of other peripherals like printers, scanners, etc., cabling systems like local area network cables, network interface cards, wired switches, etc.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned by the Manager.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- ITE/Diploma & above in Information Technology from recognized institutes.
- Experience as a Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role for about 2 to 3 years.
- Working knowledge in Server and Network
- Experience in mass deployment notebooks/desktops with or without assistance from deployment tools
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Application (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of office automation products and other computer peripherals, like video conference peripherals, projectors, printers and scanners
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people in a professional manner, face to face, on the telephone and in writing.
- Ability to demonstrate practical troubleshooting and problem analysis techniques.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload without supervision.
- Ability to prioritize, manage and perform under pressure
- Willing to work flexibly and with enthusiasm
