Job summary

Coherent in Singapore is seeking an experienced Transportation Operations expert to lead planning and execution of shipments using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). You will monitor carrier performance, drive cost adherence, and resolve shipment exceptions across multi-modal networks.

This role involves configuring OTM modules, aligning system design with logistics best practices, and partnering with IT and procurement teams to optimize plans, automate rules, and improve KPIs such as

Qualifications

5–10+ years of transportation/logistics experience.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) in an operational environment.
Strong understanding of multi-modal transportation (parcel, LTL, FTL, air, ocean).
Experience configuring OTM (rates, itineraries, agents, automation—not just user-level).
Ability to translate business needs into system design and execution.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute shipments within OTM.
Monitor carrier performance, service levels and cost adherence.
Lead issue resolution for shipment exceptions, delays, and system gaps.
Configure and design OTM modules (e.g., Release Management, Shipment Planning, Rate Management).
Drive continuous improvement of planning parameters, constraints, and automation rules.
Partner with IT for system upgrades, integrations (ERP, WMS), and EDI/API connectivity.
Develop SOPs and governance models for system usage and data integrity.
Lead OTM-related initiatives like enhancements and new lane implementations.
