OTC Derivatives Transaction Business Analyst, Singapore, Hong Kong

Role Summary

This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting and Regulatory Solutions Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

As an OTC Derivatives Transaction Business Analyst in Singapore or Hong Kong, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients across various capabilities including analysis, requirements validation, data modeling and sourcing, mapping, controls, and test design. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. You will serve as the primary contact between the client and DC as part of our Global Consulting team based in Singapore.

The Role and Responsibilities

No two days are the same. This role suits someone with exceptional client experience managing a broad range of client workflows efficiently. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing client integration projects of varying sizes, working collaboratively with clients, analyzing regulatory requirements, and coordinating with client development teams to implement solutions and address regulatory queries.

  • Regulatory remediation and enforcement response
  • Regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Cost transformation initiatives
  • Legal entity restructuring
  • Operating model redesign and implementation
  • Operational resilience assessment and remediation

Candidate Experience (2-5 years) in:

  • Business analysis and requirements gathering for trade and transaction reporting under major regulatory regimes including MAS, ASIC, HKMA, and JFSA
  • Gap analysis and interpretation of new data fields for Rewrites: MAS, ASIC, JFSA
  • Translating regulatory requirements into business specifications; managing client data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Collaborating with technology, operations, sales, and business development teams to deliver regulatory reporting solutions
  • Writing test scripts based on business use cases to cover relevant scenarios for Rewrite requirements
  • Working with Development and QA teams during testing to ensure solutions meet design and requirements
  • Overseeing sanity and component testing during development; reviewing test plans
  • Supporting small to medium-sized project implementations
  • Acting as a liaison between the client and delivery teams to define and validate requirements
  • Partnering with developers and testers in designing and delivering solutions
  • Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous consulting experience
  • Experience in Capital Management, Operations, Middle Office, Operational Risk, Liquidity Management (beneficial)
  • Regulatory exposure to MiFID II / MiFIR, Basel, IBOR, FRTB, CRD & CRR, SFTR, Operational Resilience (beneficial)

Language requirement: proficient in Chinese
