A leading financial services firm in Singapore seeks an OTC Broker to manage client orders, monitor markets, and provide investment advice. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Finance and at least 5 years of experience are preferred. Fluency in Mandarin is required due to clientele interactions. This position reports to the Head of Broking and work closely with the team lead of the Energy desk.
Key Responsibilities
Buy and sell orders on behalf of clients
Monitor international market performance
Provide investment advice and market recommendation to customers
Develop and manage customer relationships on individual and team levels
Requirements
You should possess the following:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/ Business/ Banking & Finance or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience. Minimum 1 year experience in broking, marketing and pricing of commodity derivatives with a global commodity brokerage firm or financial institution or bank preferred
Ideally licensed to trade futures/securities in Singapore (pass in CMFAS module 2A and/or 6A). Certification in CMFAS, M2A, M5 and M6A preferred
Excellent in customer relationship management, including sourcing of new clients and maintaining existing clientele
Candidate must be keen to learn, self-motivated and a good team player
Must be goal-oriented
Possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in fast-paced environment
Fluency in Mandarin as the job has some dealings with Chinese speaking clients
Team player, willing to work long hours and energetic
Entry level applicants are welcome as training will be provided
