We welcome you to join "Team SNEC" as an Orthoptist.

Join us as a member of the Adult Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology team. You will be involved in general orthoptic examinations and paediatric ophthalmology sessions, including paediatric visual acuity checks, sensory and motor evaluation of squints, refraction, amblyopia diagnosis, counselling, and orthoptic treatment. There will also be opportunities for active participation in teaching and research projects.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities
  • Involve in Orthoptic Assessment and Reporting, including formulation of diagnosis and proposed management plans for paediatric, general, or private ophthalmologists.
  • Conduct Binocular Vision Assessment and other binocular vision testing.
  • Diagnose, support treatment, and provide counselling in Amblyopia Clinic and Fusion and Accommodation Clinic.
  • Perform other orthoptic assessments and clinical practices, including prescription of Fresnel prisms.
  • Participate in orthoptic education, teaching, and research projects.
